Ear Syringing

Ear irrigation is only recommended on rare occasions. Ear irrigation can lead to ear infections, perforated ear drum and tinnitus (persistent noise). If you think you have persisting wax please try over the counter olive oil ear drops of approximately 2 weeks. If despite taking these measures you feel you still have wax, please make an appointment with your nurse who will be able to assess.
